The Tawa & KiwiKiwi Reading groups read a Connected text about muscle fatigue. This was their learning for 2 weeks.

Geometry

This week for Maths Mrs Jones' groups have been learning about reflection, rotation, and translation, or in simple terms flipping, turning and sliding shapes.
After we did some learning on Monday we were given the challenge to create something to share with others to show our learning. We could choose to create anything - a Google Drawing, a Google Presentation, a dance to be videoed, make a book, etc.  
We then had some time to get busy and "create" over the rest of Monday and Tuesday's Maths sessions.
These are our finished results - we hope you enjoy learning about how shapes can be flipped, slid and turned.

Turtles - Kiwikiwi Reading Group

The Kiwikiwi reading group have been learning about Turtles this week. They used some of the facts that they learnt to create google drawings. To see our facts hover the mouse on each circle (link) on our Thinglink.
