A Year With Mother Bear

Mrs Jones' Ma Reading Group have been learning about bears and bear cubs.  They created these Google Drawings with the facts that they learnt.

This week for Maths Mrs Jones' groups have been learning about reflection, rotation, and translation, or in simple terms flipping, turning and sliding shapes.
After we did some learning on Monday we were given the challenge to create something to share with others to show our learning. We could choose to create anything - a Google Drawing, a Google Presentation, a dance to be videoed, make a book, etc.  
We then had some time to get busy and "create" over the rest of Monday and Tuesday's Maths sessions.
These are our finished results - we hope you enjoy learning about how shapes can be flipped, slid and turned.

Word Clouds

We have been learning how to make Word Clouds.  We wrote a list of words about ourselves (our names, our family, our favourite things, etc) and then we selected a photo of ourselves for the words to be put on.  You can make out our red school t-shirts, our faces and our hair.
