Number of the Week
We have been working on these Number of the Week presentations in Maths this week for our Can-Do's.
Tuakana teina
Tuakana teina refers to the relationship between an older (tuakana) person and a younger (teina) person and is specific to teaching and learning in the Māori context.
This term we are doing Tuakana teina every Friday with the Junior syndicate.
We help with some classroom learning first and then we go outside for sport with them.
Today home room 10 & 12 did some relaxing, listening to calming music with LC 1 & 2.

Getting Creative with Build with Chrome
Today for Must-Do-Madness one of the activities was to build with Lego using our chrome books.
Mrs Jones shared the link: Build with Chrome and we began to Learn-Create-Share. Here are few screen shots of what we created.

What should we share online?
We worked with Mr Maddren on what we should keep private and not share online, and what is OK to put online. At the end of the session we created our first ever Padlet and all wrote on a Post-it Note to share what we had learnt.
